Oyate: Oyate members are students from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and represent the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Dentistry, School of Pharmacy, Graduate School, Physician’s Assistant Program and Physical Therapy Program. Our students are primarily students of color or disadvantaged status and we have a strong desire to see more underrepresented minorities in health science careers. In order to promote diversity at the CU Health Sciences Center, we realize that high school and undergraduate students need to be exposed to career opportunities available in science.
